Datasheets
Datasheets
display data and provide a simple datasheet editor to
create and edit your data.
Here is
an example of a datasheet:
As shown
in the example, the left column of cells contains observation
labels. The top row of cells contains variable names.
The second row of cells contains variable types, which
can be numeric, ordinal or category. The remaining cells
of the datasheet contain the data. The datasheet can
contain missing data, though currently ViSta cannot
process data with missing values.
You can
add rows or columns to the datasheet by clicking on
the "New Obs" cell located below the left-hand column,
or the "New Var" cell located to the right of the top
row. Menu items let you add multiple rows or columns
simultaneously. You can also control the width of columns
and the number of decimal places shown via menu items.
