Welcome to online help for using ViSta. We have two major kinds of help:

Technical Help: Installing, configuring and using ViSta:

• New Users Help (installing and configuring ViSta)
• ViSta User's Guide (out-of-date, but still useful)
• References, including online material and links to other sites

Conceptual Help: Understanding Statistics as realized in ViSta:

• Lecture Notes developed over three years of classroom use.
• Examples which are heavily annotated (not yet available)
• Applets which demonstrate statistical concepts (not yet available)
• Data used by the examples and applets (not yet available)

Note that the conceptual help material is being constructed from a large set of lecture notes that are already online. This material has been used for the last three years in the ViSta based Introductory Psychological Statistics courses taught by Forrest Young at the University of North Carolina.
